Reduced motion

Modern desktop and mobile operating systems offer a setting to cut down on animations and other motion effects. Our software respects this setting when displaying animations. To change this setting, find your operating system below and follow the instructions.

Windows

Windows 10

  1. Open Settings
  2. Click on "Ease of Access"
  3. Click on "Display"
  4. Click on "Simplify and personalize Windows"
  5. Toggle "Show animation in Windows"

Windows 11

  1. Open Settings
  2. Click on "Accessibility" in the left sidebar
  3. Click on "Visual effects"
  4. Toggle "Animation effects"

macOS

  1. Open System Preferences
  2. Click on "Accessibility"
  3. Click on "Display"
  4. Toggle "Reduce motion"

Android 13

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Go to "Accessibility"
  3. Under "Display", tap on "Color and motion"
  4. Toggle "Remove animations"

iOS

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Go to "Accessibility"
  3. Tap on "Motion"
  4. Toggle "Reduce Motion"

Linux

KDE

  1. Open System Settings
  2. Under "Workspace", open "Workspace Behavior"
  3. Make sure the "General Behavior" tab is selected
  4. Slide the "Animation speed" slider to "Instant"
