Windows
Windows 10
- Open Settings
- Click "Personalization"
- Switch to the "Colors" tab on the left
- Set "Choose your app mode" to "Light" or "Dark"
Windows 11
- Open Settings
- Switch to the "Personalization" tab on the left
- Open "Colors" on the right
- Set "Choose your mode" to "Light" or "Dark". If you select "Custom", the setting that influences web applications is "Choose your default app mode".
macOS
Ventura (13.0.1) and later
- Open System Settings
- Click "Appearance" in the sidebar
- Select "Light" or "Dark", or "Auto" to switch based on time of day
Monterey (12.6.1) and earlier
- Open System Preferences
- Click "General"
