Machine utilization is a simpler alternative to OEE for measuring machine productivity.
OnTakt calculates and displays machine utilization for each machine on a chosen day on the machine state history page.
Utilization is calculated by adding up all the time the machine was utilized within a selected time interval and dividing by the length of that interval to get a percentage.
The utilization for each machine is displayed to the right of the machine's name, and a small bar graph visualizes the percentage.
